Where You Lay Your Head

Le Boy and I have been dating for about 6 months now. I still deem this is a new relationship, despite the fact that we have very much settled into a routine and into each other. We make joint plans and spend nearly every night together.

I was teased recently about Le Boy having moved into my place. I denied it. Yeah, he spends most nights here, but sometimes I spend the night at his place, too. And my main point was that we have to pack a bag to stay at each other’s places. We don’t have drawers or toothbrushes that stay. The counter argument to that was that home is where you lay your head, not your stuff.

We both have separate residences, different mailing addresses. I maintain that we are not living together.

When did you consider yourself to be a cohabitant with your partner?
